1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to NRI Investment Expo ("Platform", "Website", "we", "our", or "us").

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Platform, including its website, livestreams, webinars, virtual events, appointment booking facilities, educational content, communications and related services.

By accessing, browsing, registering with, or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agree to be legally bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and all other policies referenced herein.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must discontinue use of the Platform immediately.

2. Eligibility

To use the Platform:

  • You must be at least 18 years of age, or participate under the supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian where permitted by applicable law.
  • You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.
  • You must provide accurate and complete information.

We reserve the right to refuse or terminate access if eligibility requirements are not met.

3. Nature of the Platform

NRI Investment Expo is an independent technology platform and event organiser.

The Platform facilitates:

  • educational livestreams;
  • webinars;
  • virtual exhibitions;
  • appointment requests;
  • lead generation;
  • interactions between users and exhibitors.

The Platform does not:

  • provide investment advice;
  • recommend financial products;
  • execute investment transactions;
  • process securities;
  • accept investor funds;
  • underwrite insurance;
  • sanction loans;
  • provide legal advice;
  • provide tax advice;
  • provide immigration advice.

4. Aggregator Status

The Platform acts solely as an aggregator.

Participation by an exhibitor, sponsor or speaker shall not be interpreted as:

  • an endorsement;
  • a certification;
  • a guarantee;
  • regulatory approval; or
  • a recommendation by NRI Investment Expo.

Users remain solely responsible for conducting independent due diligence before entering into any transaction with an exhibitor or service provider.

5. Educational Purpose

All content on the Platform is provided for informational and educational purposes only.

Nothing on the Platform constitutes:

  • financial advice;
  • investment advice;
  • legal advice;
  • immigration advice;
  • tax advice;
  • accounting advice;
  • fiduciary advice; or
  • a recommendation to purchase, sell or hold any financial product.

Users should consult appropriately qualified professionals before making investment or financial decisions.

6. Registration

Users may register by providing:

  • Name
  • Email Address
  • Mobile Number
  • Country of Residence
  • Other information reasonably requested for event participation

Users agree that all information provided is true, accurate and complete.

7. Lead Sharing

By submitting an enquiry, registering for an event or booking an appointment, users authorise NRI Investment Expo to share their contact information with:

  • relevant exhibitors;
  • relevant service providers;
  • selected partners and sponsors, where disclosed and consistent with the stated purpose of collection.

Once information is shared, the receiving organisation becomes independently responsible for its own handling of personal information.

8. User Conduct

Users agree not to:

  • provide false information;
  • impersonate another person;
  • upload malware;
  • disrupt livestreams;
  • interfere with Platform operations;
  • harvest personal information;
  • scrape content;
  • use automated bots without written permission;
  • copy or redistribute Platform content without authorisation;
  • infringe intellectual property rights;
  • transmit spam or unsolicited communications;
  • engage in abusive, defamatory, discriminatory or unlawful conduct.

9. Livestream Participation

Users participating in livestreams agree to:

  • maintain respectful behaviour;
  • refrain from abusive language;
  • avoid sharing confidential personal or financial information in public chats;
  • comply with moderator instructions.

We reserve the right to:

  • mute participants;
  • remove comments;
  • suspend participation;
  • terminate access;
  • remove any content considered inappropriate or unlawful.

10. Recording Notice

Livestreams, webinars and virtual events may be recorded by NRI Investment Expo.

By participating, users acknowledge that recordings may include:

  • presenter content;
  • moderator content;
  • publicly displayed questions or comments;
  • event interactions where applicable.

These recordings may be edited, archived and used for future educational, promotional or operational purposes, subject to applicable law.

11. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, all rights, title and interest in:

  • software;
  • website design;
  • logos;
  • branding;
  • videos;
  • livestream recordings;
  • transcripts;
  • subtitles;
  • educational material;
  • graphics;
  • compilations;
  • databases;
  • event recordings;

are owned by or licensed to NRI Investment Expo.

No licence is granted except as expressly provided.

12. User-Generated Content

Where users submit questions, comments or other content, they grant NRI Investment Expo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, display, archive and distribute such content for the operation and promotion of the Platform, subject to applicable law.

Users warrant that they have the right to submit such content and that it does not infringe the rights of any third party.

13. Third-Party Services

The Platform may contain links or references to third-party websites, financial institutions, developers, immigration consultants and other service providers.

NRI Investment Expo does not control or assume responsibility for the content, availability or practices of those third parties.

Users access third-party services at their own risk.

14. No Warranty

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NRI Investment Expo disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

  • the Platform will be uninterrupted;
  • livestreams will always be available;
  • information will always be current;
  • errors will not occur;
  • defects will be corrected immediately.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, NRI Investment Expo, its proprietor, employees, contractors, presenters, sponsors and affiliates shall not be liable for:

  • investment losses;
  • financial losses;
  • market fluctuations;
  • tax consequences;
  • immigration outcomes;
  • property disputes;
  • inaccurate third-party information;
  • exhibitor conduct;
  • missed opportunities;
  • technical interruptions;
  • internet failures;
  • delays;
  • indirect, incidental, consequential, special or punitive damages arising out of or related to the use of the Platform.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under applicable law.

16. Indemnity

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless NRI Investment Expo, its proprietor, employees, contractors, sponsors and affiliates from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from:

  • breach of these Terms;
  • misuse of the Platform;
  • infringement of third-party rights; or
  • unlawful conduct.

17. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, where we reasonably believe that a user has:

  • breached these Terms;
  • engaged in fraudulent activity;
  • violated applicable law;
  • disrupted Platform operations;
  • compromised security.

18. Force Majeure

NRI Investment Expo shall not be liable for delays or failures resulting from events beyond its reasonable control, including:

  • natural disasters;
  • governmental actions;
  • war;
  • terrorism;
  • cyberattacks;
  • internet outages;
  • power failures;
  • pandemics;
  • labour disputes;
  • failures of third-party service providers.

19. Changes to the Platform

We reserve the right to:

  • modify;
  • suspend;
  • discontinue;
  • improve;
  • replace;
  • remove;

any feature, service, livestream, event or content without prior notice.

20. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.

Subject to any mandatory legal requirements, the courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms.

21. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

22. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy and any other applicable Platform policies, constitute the entire agreement between the user and NRI Investment Expo regarding use of the Platform.

23. Advertising and Platform Disclaimers

We promote the Expo through paid advertising on third-party platforms, including Meta Platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Messenger and WhatsApp), Google and YouTube, LinkedIn and TikTok, and through email, SMS and messaging channels.

  • NRI Investment Expo is not affiliated with, sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with any of those platforms, and no promotion or campaign run by us is sponsored or endorsed by them. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
  • Advertisements, landing pages and lead forms operated on those platforms are subject to the platform's own terms and policies in addition to these Terms.
  • Figures used in advertising, such as expected attendance, the number of exhibitors, countries represented or sessions, are estimates and targets, are not guarantees, and may change.
  • Any performance, return, appreciation, yield, tax outcome, visa outcome or timeline mentioned in an advertisement, a session or by an exhibitor is illustrative only, is not a promise or guarantee, and past performance is not a guide to future results.
  • Some imagery and video used in our advertising and on this website is created with artificial intelligence tools and is illustrative rather than a photograph of a specific event, person, property or product.
  • Where you submit an enquiry through a platform lead form, that platform collects your details first and passes them to us, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Investments carry risk, including the possible loss of capital. Nothing in our advertising or on the Platform is an offer, solicitation or recommendation to buy or sell any product or security, or advice of any kind. Take independent professional advice before acting.
